INFORMATION FOR HR, ABSENCE MANAGEMENT COACHES & MANAGERS — ‘STRESS BLUEPRINT’ TRAINING FOR YOUR STAFF

Invest proactively in the mental resilience of your staff

Waiting for someone to burn out is not a strategy — preventative investment is. In two days, an employee learns how stress affects them, what triggers them and how to recognise their own unique set of warning signs. But we go a step further: to your employee’s deepest values, how these drive them, and how their coping style can sometimes be functional and sometimes dysfunctional. No putting out fires after the event, but a personalised stress blueprint that your employee can take back to the workplace. Register an employee today!

Does this sound familiar?

You notice that absenteeism figures are rising slightly again this month. Then you receive a text message from a manager — ‘Someone’s off sick, could you have a look?’ Your heart beats a little faster, not because this is anything new, but precisely because it’s yet another instance.

On paper, your absence management policy seems to be working well: you have a protocol, a case manager and close links with the company doctor. Yet you find that you’re mainly playing catch-up — you only step in once someone has already taken sick leave, rather than talking to the employer earlier on to prevent absences. This makes you wonder: can we spot this coming sooner?

Does this sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone — many HR professionals, absence management coaches and managers tend to be reactive: putting out fires rather than preventing them. This is exactly where ‘Stress Blueprint’ comes in: a preventative investment that helps employees learn to recognise their own stress signals before the situation escalates.

The training

Two days, structured in two clear steps

Over the course of two days, spread over two to three weeks, each participant will develop a personalised stress blueprint: a practical and preventative stress management plan, complete with the tools needed to put it into practice themselves. The programme is led by two psychologists, in a small group of eight to twelve participants.

Day 1

  • Each participant clearly identifies their current and desired situation.
  • Each participant learns to recognise their own stress signals and triggers so that they can then respond to them.
  • Each participant discovers their dominant coping style: what do they do when things get stressful, and does it actually help?

Day 2

  • Each participant explores their set of values: what drives them, and when does this work for or against them?
  • Each participant delves into ownership: how do they maintain their own balance, even when things get busy?
  • The training concludes with concrete steps: a personal stress management plan to take home.

What are the benefits?

The aim is not to keep putting out small fires.
The aim is to prevent downtime.

Practical matters

Everything you need to know

Prevention in the orange zone is the key to a healthy organisation. Although the warning signs at this stage are sometimes still subtle, the consequences of intervening too late are anything but: consider 350 euros per day of absence, up to as much as rising burnout rates. By taking action now, you can turn risks into results and prevent absenteeism before it occurs.

For who

Employees with mild to moderate stress-related symptoms who are intrinsically motivated to take ownership of their mental wellbeing. Minimum educational level: MBO level 4.

This training course is not a substitute for treatment by a psychologist.
